“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is GIVEN: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”. Isa 9:6
And so as we celebrate the birth of our King Jesus, the greatest Gift that was given to mankind, I ask myself, what gifts can I present to my Saviour King?
I pray that I may bring gifts of gratefulness, because 2016 was sprinkled with abundant gems of goodness from above.
I pray to bring gifts of love and acceptance towards those who are weak and sidelined.
I pray to bring gifts of celebration of others more and more, and uplift their worth and worthiness.
I pray to bring gifts of good influence and change and leave my world a better place – starting where I am, and using what I have.
This is truly my heartfelt prayer this Christmas 2016.
